An Unexpected Guest

So...this post is completely random, and my own little way of expressing the "OH MY GOD, WHAT?!" thoughts that have been bouncing around my head for the past few days...

So last Wednesday, as I was leaving the apartment for class, MN informed me that C's godmother was going to be stopping by later that evening for drinks and a visit. Now, normally this type of comment would be placed in the "mundane" category, but this situation is a little different.

It is important to note that C's godmother, Marion, has:

1) Travelled the world on account of her work

2) Spent a significant amount of time in the midwest, particularly Madison (also due to work)

3) Has spent some time with the likes of Johnny Depp and Daniel Day Lewis

4) Once won an Oscar for her performance in La Vie en Rose

If it hasn't become obvious yet, C's godmother just happens to be Marion Cotillard, whom MN has known for over fifteen years. WHAT?!

So yea, Marion Cotillard came over for drinks the other night. She was very amused that I was from Madison.

"Oh! I loved Madison! I spent a lot of time there. And also that other city....oh, I forget the name...I think it also starts with an M...."

"Milwaukee?"

"Yes! That one too! I can never remember the names...."

Haha. Oh, the Midwest... Oh, Marion... Oh, Life...
